Fish of the week

On Father's Day my mom took me to the pond to go fishing. She said I could fish for 1 hour. And just when my hour was up I pulled in a great big KOI! Lucky day!First I pulled in this little baby sunny.

I went fishing at Butler Pond with my dad yesterday. We caught lots of cichlids and one turtle. It was HOT but I could have fished all day!

This morning we started fishing at the dog water, but the fish were not biting there. I asked my mom if we could go to Butler instead and she was happy to take me. At Butler we caught so many fish that we lost track! They were biting on fake maggots and chunks of everything bagel so I fished until they were all gone. Lots of sunnies and cichlids.

I caught a gar and broke my record!

Me and Dad and Rick wet fishing at Fayette last night and this morning. The fishing was GREAT! I caught 3 species of fish in one day! I broke my record, catching a 7 pound, 9 ounce catfish. And I caught my first gar!
