Fish before the storm

Last night at Fayette

Last night me and my dad went to Fayette and I caught this big honkin' gaspergou.

But there were also bass.

And catfish.

My dad pulled a gar in with the cast net.

And we also caught a whole mess of tilapia in the cast net.

Rat snake and fish

We found this cool snake on my deck yesterday. He's a Texas Rat Snake. I tried to feed him an egg, but I think he was really hoping I'd feed him one of my gerbils. My dad and I went fishing at Butler Pond last Thursday and we caught more than 50 fish each. This week the fishing wasn't quite that good, but we still caught a bunch of fish. This kingfisher was taking handouts of little sunfish from us.

Late night fishing

On Monday I went FISHING in FAYETTE with my dad, hi friend Larry and his son Joshua. We caught lots of fish and came home in the middle of the night hungry and sleepy. Pictures from the outing:

Fishing fever

This weekend I went fishing with my dad at Fayette. I didn't get quite enough on Sunday so on Monday I called into school with "fishing fever."
