My second E-Rock catfish

One day when we went to Enchanted Rock I had a net and I was trying to block a hole from a catfish and there wasn't much water and I blocked it and I caught it. And here it is on my blog.

Lake Somerville catfishing

My dad and I went fishing at Lake Somerville this week. We forgot our sleeping bags and had to sleep in the back of the truck. And we caught lots of catfish, of course!

I caught a KOI!

My mom and I went fishing at Butler on Wednesday. We didn't have any bait so she took a scoop of corn out of the freezer and decided to give it a shot. We caught so many fish we lost count! I caught a LARGE unidentified white fish and a huge ORANGE KOI! It was so exciting! My mom asked me to put him right back in the water because she was worried he wouldn't fit through the crack we were fishing and she was really glad when he was able to get himself off. I can't wait to go back! I want to catch another one!!

Landing a big catfish

I learned to ride my bike!!!!

Today was very, very fun!! I gathered pecans in the park, I went climbing and climbed higher than I ever did before, and then I learned to RIDE MY BIKE! This is a very proud day for me and I wish I could just be out there riding all night long!

Lost Creek fishing'

My mom will let me take my cane rod out and try to catch fish just about anytime or anywhere. I caught one little sunny and one great big CRABDADDY!

Tuesday fishin'

Fishing with my dad is the best. We spent the whole day on the lake and didn't start catching until after dark. I caught 5 catfish in between naps!!

1 big bass!

I went fishing last night in Fayette with my dad and his friend. We each caught one big bass, mine was the biggest!Our new boat is so much fun to ride in and I had the best time!I took a picture of the sun setting ...And one of the lights on the water ...

Turtle, fish, moth, fish

Last week I rescued a giant moth from the sidewalk.I rescued an itty bitty turtle from the sidewalk.Me and my dad got a new fishing boat.I caught the first fish on the new boat.And I've been fishing at Butler Pond twice with my mama. We caught 3 fish last week and 2 fish today. The turtles were really driving me crazy!

Baking Banana Bread

Some days when I can't go fishing I like to cook. On this day I made banana bread and it was SO YUMMY!

Barton Springs Flood

After we watched a video of Barton Springs flooding I told my mom, "We have to go see it!"

Big News!

My dad ran into Joe Diaz tonight, the man who told us we could no longer fish at Butler Pond ... and guess what he said?! He said TPWD called him and told him that we could fish at Butler Pond and that he was sorry and that he made a mistake and FISH AWAY! Woo hoo! I jumped up and down when my mom gave me the message! I know where we'll be spending our mornings when school starts back up ... (TPWD IS THE BEST!!)

Crabbing at Surfside Beach

I pulled in one blue crab on a chicken leg tied to a string, I caught a couple of hermit crabs, and I scooped up a sand crab in one of the bathrooms.
