Fishing The San Diego Bay

Last Wednesday I went fishing in the San Diego Bay with my family. We hired a guide, Barry, who took us out in the bay for 4 hours and lots of fish. The trip was a Father's Day gift for my dad, but I think my sister and I caught more fish than he did.

A lot of the fish in the bay are at the bottom of the water so it takes a lot of patience to let the line out for 40 feet. But it was worth it because I pulled in Barred Sand Bass, Spotted Bay Bass, Pacific Mackerel, Lizardfish, and my sister caught a Sculpin Fish.

I was really hoping to catch a marlin or a shark or something huge, but maybe next time ...Fish on!Mackerel.Barred Sand Bass.Sea Lion!Spotted Bay Bass.Lizardfish have really sharp teeth!
